Taste for OPAS is always looking for generous and creative people to host events.  You can host an event in your home or at a restaurant or other location.  You can team up with friends and host as a group.  We like small intimate events and large, boisterious events and everything in between - whatever works for you! 

Taste for OPAS is a culinary fundraiser for OPAS Encore!  Our goal with these events is to introduce OPAS to the community. We donate funds raised by these events to OPAS so they can continue to bring world class performers to the Brazos Valley and so they can educate children and adults about the performing arts. 

We have dedicated volunteers who can help you plan your event, but here's basically how it works:

The Taste Host will chose a date, a location, a theme and number of people to host.  The host pays for any food, drinks, decorating and other elements of the party.

The Taste For OPAS committee will provide help you plan your event, provide marketing of your event, take reservations, collect payments and thank the host and guests. 

This is a fabulous opportunity for you to meet new people, throw a great party and make a meaningful contribution to the arts.
